I've spent half my life doing analytical chemistry in labs, including developing new methods of analysis at two companies. Sometimes I need to reject all that rigidity and I choose to play with cameras. I prefer real film and a chemical darkroom. It lets me compensate for a complete lack of any art training or experience with plenty of laboratory experience.

I currently live in the plains of Colorado

So...

New job...

Moved half way across the continent....

Drove 3200 miles...

EVERYTHING is now in storage...

Still looking for a new place...

Who knows when I'll be in a darkroom again...

BUT the job is more fun, more mentally engaging, pays better with better benefits in a less extreme climate.
